Mark is the Parliamentary Leader of the Greens in SA and has qualifications in law, economics and planning.
Over the past 8 years, Mark has successfully campaigned to save the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary and expand the solar energy industry in SA. He has stood up for the rights of injured workers. Mark has also worked tirelessly with community groups to demand a better way to plan our suburbs and towns and protect our valuable farmland from urban sprawl and mining.
Mark is a voice of reason and an effective advocate in the Upper House of Parliament for a better way forward for South Australia. While the old parties fight each other, Mark is there to show that there is a better way for SA.
Mark is married to Former Greens Senator, Penny Wright, and they have three children.
